    Agenus (Lexington, MA), a cutting-edge biotech company with outstanding I-O portfolio, is looking for a passionate and motivated Research Associate/Senior Research Associate to join the Translational Medicine team. The selected candidate will work as a part of an interdisciplinary team focusing on assay development and immune monitoring for novel and personalized-vaccine clinical trials.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and standardize immune-monitoring assays that involve ELISpot, ELISA and multi-color flow cytometry
    • Plan, conduct, and analyze experiments and present results at intra- and inter-departmental meetings
    • Assist scientists in planning and coordination of assays to be performed in patient samples from clinical trials
    • Process clinical samples and maintain and manage the biospecimen database
    • Maintain well-organized records and documentation
    • Collaborate closely with other scientists to advance pre-clinical research stage programs into early clinical development, providing both scientific and technical expertise

    Qualifications

    Who are we looking for?

    • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on relevant research experience within translational medicine and solid understanding of basic principles in immunology
    • Track record of success evidenced by strong publications and/or sustained contributions in the biopharmaceutical industry
    • Experience with a wide range of immunological and molecular biology assays including: cell culture, mutli-color flow cytometry, ELISA, EliSpot, MSD, Luminex assays
    • Flexible team member with proven independent designing, executing, trouble-shooting and interpreting experiments & executing project tasks
    • The role requires a BS or MS in immunology, oncology, biology, or related field
