    Research Operations Assistant -


    We are seeking a motivated, resourceful and results-oriented Assistant to join Research Operations group at Agenus, Lexington, MA. Agenus is focused on identifying novel therapeutic drugs in I/O for the treatment of human cancers. The candidate will support the Agenus’ mission through implementation and management of the company’s policies, procedures and operational workflows.




    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Works cross-functionally with research and development, finance, procurement, purchasing, legal, human resources, and other departments.
    • Assists in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting documentations with support from various stakeholders.
    • Initiates, manages, and maintains contracts including Master Services Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), Confidentiality Agreements (CDA) with external partners including CROs and excipient/accessory suppliers.
    • Initiates, tracks and manages purchase requisitions and vendor invoices while working closely with the procurement and purchasing departments.
    • Aids in the preparation of presentations for team leaders for BOD and other decision-making groups.



    • A BS degree in a scientific discipline is required
    • 1-2 years post-graduate experience with project or contract management.
    • A track-record of exceptional organization, work ethic and communication skills is desired.
    • Prior experience in discovery research, preclinical development and research operations management in a drug discovery organization a plus.
    • Must be experienced in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint; Oracle is a plus.
    • Prior experience working with project management principles, contract documents (CDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and POs), and financial aspects of outsourced operations (budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing) is strongly preferred.
