  • Overview

    We are seeking a highly motivated and results-orientated Scientific Writer to join the Immunomodulatory Drug Discovery (IMDD) group (Cancer Immunology) at Agenus, Lexington, MA. In this position, the selected candidate will work as part of an integrated, dynamic and talented research team focused on identifying novel therapeutic targets, and the development and characterization of cancer immunotherapeutic agents directed at these targets.

     

    Responsibilities

    This new member of our team is expected to work cross-functionally with the scientific, business development, competitive intelligence, and communication groups to facilitate data sharing within our organization, and between Agenus and industry partners, and the broader scientific community. The new team member will assist in the production and review of scientific documents, including technical protocols and regulatory submission documents; copyedit manuscripts for use in publications, abstracts, posters, and other communications; assist in the preparation of clear and impactful presentations; remain current on trends in immune-oncology, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collegial and research-driven environment.

     

    Qualifications

    A BS or advanced degree in a field of biology

    • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills are required. Full fluency of English language.
    • Exposure to immunology, drug discovery, or translational research is preferred.
    • Graphic design skills are highly desirable.
    • Prior scientific writing, laboratory research, and/or cancer immunology experience is a bonus
