    Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks for the procurement of and inventory management for materials, intermediates, final product and test samples in support of GMP operations. Process the receipts, movement and status changes for inventory via SOP systems, inventory tracking systems and an automated computer system. Support the planning, packaging, issuance, shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of inventory to internal departments, test labs, clinical sites, customers and vendors for both domestic and international shipments. Interface with vendors for product shipments regarding scheduling, packaging, labeling, documentation and customs clearance per regulations/requirements. Manage permits/agreements for Supply & Logistics operations. Ensure the receipt of materials and product to the end user in a timely manner ensuring careful handling of critical and temperature sensitive materials. Coordinate the efficient movement and shipment of materials and product with the Operations Team. Ensure security and accountability of materials and product inventory, assist with validation of temperature controlled storage units and perform routine cycle counting in support of SOX compliance. Perform responsibilities according to procedure and training while maintaining strict compliance to SOPs and in accordance with cGMP. Develop new capabilities for department to support supply chain services and inventory management including developing logistics plans and procedures. Contribute to building a compliant inventory management system.     


    Associates degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years experience in inventory management at a life sciences company. Experience in handling biohazardous, exempt human and temperature sensitive materials/product with an understanding of domestic and international shipping guidelines/regulations. IATA certification and Oracle experience a plus.
